2.3 Basis Stress Testing
Basis Stress testing is similar to integration testing. The downside is that the test can hardly ever be done manually. The objective behind a basis stress test is to ensure that the hardware and system parameters have been configured to meet the users typical demand.

The problem is that if the test can be done once, it can hardly be repeated in the same manner after the parameters have been re configured.
Siamease allows complete business processes that represent the general business day to day workload to be automated. The basis team can execute a Siamease script to post 10000 documents across the business spectrum, whilst monitoring database workload, network load and other basis measures. The same test can then be performed at different geographic locations to ensure that network settings are correct. After any system changes have been implemented, the basis team can execute the same set of tests again and again, until a measurable improvement has been achieved. These tests can also be conducted outside of main work hours.
